Hubballi Prepares for Guru Raghavendra’s 353rd Aaradhana

Hubballi: The 353rd Aaradhana Mahotsava (anniversary celebrations) of Guru Raghavendra Swamy from August 20 to August 22 at Bhaktadigala Rayarmatha in Ramakrishna Nagar, Gokul Road.

The three-day festival will include a variety of religious rituals and cultural programs. On August 22 (Thursday), the schedule includes Suprabhata (morning prayers) at 6 am, Ashtottara Parayana (108-name chanting) at 7 am, Panchamruta Abhishek (ritual bathing in five nectars) at 9 am, Pushpalankar (flower decorations) at 10 am, Rathotsava (chariot procession) at 10:30 am, Hastodaka (ritual washing of hands) at 12 pm, and distribution of Prasada (sacred offerings) at 1 pm.

On August 21 (Wednesday), as part of Madhayaradhane, Brahmanara Alankar Pooja will be held. In the evening at 7 pm, Ashtavadhana, Tottilu Pooje, and Maha Mangalarathi (grand auspicious ritual) will take place.

Apart from the religious rituals, the festival will also feature cultural and spiritual programs. On August 15, a Dasavani (devotional music) performance by Vasudendra Vaidya and team will be held at 5:30 pm.

From August 16 to August 18, spiritual discourses by Pt Srikar Acharya Advi and Pt Yadavachar Diwakar will be held from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

On August 19, a Shravani Programme will be held at 6 am, followed by Dhawajarohana (flag hoisting) and Dhanya Pooja (grains worship) at 7 pm.
